A Magical feeling......Lee Boyd is a member of both Bradford Magic Circle and Huddersfield Circle of Magicians. Lee is a talented performer who specialises in manipulative magic and is wideley recognised within the magical community as a sleight of hand expert.
Lee has taken part in numerous Magic Shows performing his "Sleightly Different" stage manipulation act. Lee is featured in the Bradford Magic Circle's Official DVD of the Cleckheaton Family Magic Show from 2011 performing his speciality act. Lee has also been the support act to the reputable "High Jinx" who performed on Penn & Tellers TV Show "Fool Us" in June 2011.
Besides being an accomplished stage performer, Lee is also a past Winner of the Annual Scooter Memorial Card Competion which is held at Orlando's restaurant on the outskirts of Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Lee's interest in card magic was influenced by his father at an early age and he has proven to be a formidabble entertainer with the pasteboards and has produced a number of innovative card routines.
Lee is also a past Winner of the Bill Eaton Memorial Close Up Competion held by the Huddersfield Circle of Magicians. Previous winners include the likes of the well respected, Paul Hallas and Patrick Maddison.
Despite being a formidable Cardician, Lee is better known for his Silent "Top hat and tails" Stage Manipulation act that is accompanied by traditional music. This type of magical routine is seldom seen these days and in magical terms is deemed to be a speciality act.
From an early age, Lee's father who was a semi proffesional magician in the 1960's and 70's played a huge influence in the style of magic Lee performs today. His routines are based on skilled manipulations and dexterity of the hands with the fundamental elements of misdirection. Lee's stage magic is reminiscent of the likes of Magicians such as Ron Macmillan and Geoffrey Buckingham former star manipulators from the United Kingdom.
Lee is both creative and innovative with a fine repertoitre of magical effects. Lee performs an array of incredible magic with classical themed routines with a gentleman approach. ...........................................................................................................
